Thinking of traveling across the pond?

Rolling fields and miles of picturesque coastline, Cat’s home county is a great place to relax and unwind before or after our celebration. Our favorite places to explore include Royal Sandringham Estate, the traditional British seaside towns of Hunstanton and Cromer and for shopping the close by town of King’s Lynn or Norwich city.

Wherever you end up going during your trip, it will start at one of London’s airports. Only a two hour train or drive from our celebration venue, it’s a great place to make your vacation base. Must see attractions include the Tower of London and National Gallery. For food our favorites are the many stalls at Borough Market, afternoon tea at the Wolseley and Dishoom for incredible Indian street food. Please reach out for many more recommendations.

Every year, Wimbledon opens an overseas ballot for people to get tickets to the world’s most renowned tennis competition, which happens to be taking part the week before and after our celebration. Maybe you will be lucky and get offered Center Court tickets like we did where this picture was taken of Nadal. Details on how to apply here.

In a country smaller than many US states, and with a great public transport system, nowhere is too far away. You could take the Caledonian Sleeper train to the Lake District or Edinburgh, jump on the Eurostar to Paris or book a budget Ryanair flight to multiple European destinations (like Venice pictured above) from as little as $25
